Morning Glory heads, does this make any sense or is my logic flawed?

I've read that the outer husks of morning glory seeds is what causes the infamous nausea that comes with ingestion. I've also read that the chemical in the husks that causes the nausea is soluble in water. So my question is A. Is this information correct? and B. If you soak the seeds before grinding them up in water for an extended period of time will that get rid of the "nausea chemical"? or is my knowledge of chemistry as bad as i suspect and i am therefor coming off like a tard???
