I grew my own sunflower seeds, protecting them with strong pesticides. Is it safe to eat them?

No, not safe. You won't drop dead from eating them, but they adversely affect your endocrine and nervous systems. Every seed is a step closer to Parkinson's or worse. Feed them to birds.
