Possible Strep Throat?

yesterday all the sudden my throat started to hurt, my nose started to run and i had a slight fever. i also had slight fatigue. i sleep with a humidifier and took some nyquil. When i woke up this morning my symptoms were 10x's worse and i have additional nausea. I want to know if these are possible sympotms of strep throat? i know nothing is clearer than having medical attention but i dont want to jump the gun. So if they are please let me know and if there is any action i can take now to make me feel better. maybe drinking flat sprite or other things.
