My Ball Python died suddenly?

Snakes typically regurgitate their meals because they are too large. And you should never offer two meals, rather one right sized meal. It wouldn't have harmed your snake to feed her only one rat till you could get larger... I am thinking that she probably didn't regurgitate all of her food and since she did regurgitate she no longer had any stomach acid in her to properly digest w/e was left. So the remaining meal rotted in her stomach killing her.
