How to take care of a mango plant?

So i heard you had to take the husk off of the seed, but i never did. The seed grew in to a good sized plant in a medium sized pot with good soil. Now that it has grown a bit, are there any specific ways i need to take care of it? When do i know to put it in a bigger pot?
