Ball python substrait and humidity?
I am the proud owner of 2 ball pythons. 1. female granite high blush almost three years old(i have had her for a month) 2. male normal 7 months old(have had for 5 months). Now i had my male on eco earth coco husk shavings and i loved it. the only problem was i often found the particles in his mouth and in heat pits of the jaw. this was not during feedings because i feel him in a separate container. the humidity was around 80% with the eco earth when i sprayed it down every week. my snake shed in pretty much one piece with ease. Now i switched to aspen and even with spraying daily the humidity is around 40% and the sheds are very flaky. is the eco earth ok to ingest in small amounts? Can they breed on eco earth or would it get stuck in their parts? is there another sub strait you would recommend? any other tips are greatly appreciated!!! thanks
